Las Vegas-based nightlife and lifestyle company Angel Management Group will welcome SHARAM as he debuts his exclusive monthly residency, DESTINATION SHARAM at LAX Nightclub located inside Luxor Hotel and Casino, Wednesday, February 23. As his first nightclub residency in Las Vegas, the GRAMMY® award-winning producer, songwriter, recording artist and DJ will captivate the crowd with his eclectic house sound.
“Over the past six years, Angel Management Group has been introducing some of the world’s best DJs to Las Vegas, and this partnership with SHARAM will allow us to deliver a well-known and respected name to headline an amazing house night to the city,” said CEO of Angel Management Group Neil Moffitt. “We have worked with SHARAM in the past at other venues and it was only natural to partner with him for this new residency.”

Known simply by his first name SHARAM to the world of popular culture, Sharam Tayebi is a GRAMMY® award-winning producer, songwriter, recording artist and DJ. Born in Tehran, Iran, he has called our nation’s capital his home since 1985. And it was there, in the early Nineties, where he met Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia by chance. They would later form the DJ duo Deep Dish putting the nation’s capital on the map for electronic dance music. Their reputation was cemented with their critically-acclaimed debut artist album, Junk Science, followed by their second album, George Is On, which featured the vocals of Stevie Nicks. Simply stated by Rolling Stone magazine, “The Deep Dish sound personifies cool.”
After a bountiful career as part of Deep Dish, SHARAM became a solo artist in 2008 with the release of his UK top ten hit “PATT (Party All The Time)” — a rigorous rework of an old Eddie Murphy record which was produced by Rick James — followed by his collaboration with Daniel Bedingfield for “The One” and finally his debut double album, Get Wild in 2009. Recently, SHARAM created one of the most sought after records series in the industry. The Mach series included key cuts like Love Love Love, Hemi, One Night and M.I.T.T, a head turning collaboration between Sharam and Shakira aimed at the underground dance floors. Mach 3 from the series was released January 25, 2011. It features the soon to be international hit “Fun” with the vocals of Anousheh Khalili (the voice behind his previous underground hits “Don’t Say A Word” and “Be The Change”). The entire Mach series will be released on iTunes under Sharam Mach EP Monday, Feb. 14.
