Jamie Stephenson, CEO of The Juice Standard, the chic new juicery located at 4555 S. Fort Apache Rd. just west of I-215 between Flamingo Rd. and Tropicana Ave., was crowned the MS. title during the Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant at The Palazzo Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 28.

The juicing queen entered the competition with the platform to encourage others to live healthy lives by practicing good nutrition habits, but caught the judges’ attention with her beauty, confidence and personality. Contestants competed in interview, swimwear, ethnic costume and evening gown segments, in which Jamie Stephenson donned an elegant gold sequin dress with a black lace overlay. In addition to being crowned MS. during the Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant, Jamie Stephenson earned the Miss Beautiful Body title for her fit figure during a pre-pageant swimsuit competition at Azure Luxury Pool.

“Entering the pageant was a way not only to represent my heritage, but to also be a spokesperson for health and nutrition through juicing,” said Jamie Stephenson.

As the MS. titleholder of Miss Asian Las Vegas, Stephenson will enjoy a yearlong reign filled with red carpet appearances, charitable endeavors and community events.

About Jamie Stephenson

Three things drive Jamie Stephenson: gratitude, faith, and juice.

Juicing became a mainstay of Jamie’s life in 2004, when a move home to be with her family revealed a singular rule for everyone under the roof: Under no circumstance was anyone allowed to eat out. Months earlier, Jamie’s stepfather—her mother’s newly wedded, love-of-a-lifetime husband—was diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer. Given 7 months to live, in an effort to save her husband, Jamie’s mother turned to what she knew best: good food.
