The Strip was alight with stars Saturday night with Jennifer Lopez’s conclusion of her record-setting headlining residency “JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE” at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
The global superstar descended a glittering Swarovski crystal staircase and gave the crowd all she had while singing and dancing to her greatest hits. Jennifer performed to a sold-out crowd of fans and celebrities including Diddy, Tiffany Haddish, Anthony Anderson, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Ashley Graham, Vanessa Hudgens, Gayle King, AJ McLean, Evan Ross, Ben Baller, Adrienne Bailon, Mat Franco, and Sunny Hostin.
Her first surprise guest of the night was Ja Rule, who joined Jennifer Lopez on stage for their famous collaboration, “I’m Real,” bringing the show full circle as he joined her on opening night in January 2016.
During the production’s ballad section, Jennifer performed “I Hope You Dance” which she always dedicates to her kids. Jennifer became overcome with emotion when her dancers surprised her by bringing her twins, Max and Emme, on stage.
Jennifer’s second surprise guest appearance of the night was LL Cool J, who came out for a special live performance of “All I Have.” The crowd jumped to their feet and sang the chorus live with the duo.
Following Jennifer’s performance of “On The Floor,” longtime friend and manager Benny Medina got the party started for Jennifer’s final show with a crowd-pumping introduction. He spoke about the prolific production and reminded the crowd that “you can accomplish anything in life if you give it all you have.” Benny introduced Caesars Entertainment President and CEO Mark Frissora, who took to the stage to congratulate the headliner and present a commemorative plaque highlighting the success of her three-year residency at Planet Hollywood.
“How lucky am I that I have something that is so hard to say goodbye to,” said Jennifer who closed out her final performance by singing Nat King Cole’s “Smile” to the cast and crew.
The record-setting residency made a lasting impression in Las Vegas with the final performance garnering over $1.43 million in ticket revenue, setting a new single-event gross revenue record for any theater residency in Las Vegas history. “JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE” was the fastest residency at Zappos Theater to reach over $100 million in total ticket sales.
Following the show, Jennifer and Hollywood’s hottest celebrities appeared on a red carpet leading to a celebratory after party at MR CHOW at Caesars Palace, which also hosted the global superstar following her Las Vegas debut in January 2016.
DJ Josh Bliss kicked off the party and enticed guests to get on the dance floor. Choreographer Tabitha Dumo and A-Rod took turns dancing with Jennifer. The global superstar’s most iconic costumes and artwork from the production were displayed throughout several rooms at MR CHOW. Additionally, Jennifer was presented with a dazzling, nine-tiered cake adorned with sparklers.
As one of the hottest residencies on the Strip, “JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE” had all the glitz and glamour of a Las Vegas production with none other than real-life showgirl Jennifer Lopez at the forefront. With 10 total costume changes, the production included Jennifer catching the 6 Train, donning a projection-screen dress and paying homage to her Latin roots all while singing and dancing for over 90 minutes. Every performance had audiences on their feet dancing as Jennifer performed her impressive catalog of hits.
Produced by Jennifer Lopez and Benny Medina and directed by Nappytabs, the husband and wife team of Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, the spectacular show featured Lopez’s hit songs including “On The Floor,” “Jenny From The Block,” “Get Right” and “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” as well as new hits “El Anillo” and “Dinero.” Named “Best Production Show” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2016, “JENNIFER LOPEZ: ALL I HAVE” has been a truly unique production supported by a five-piece live band and 14 dancers, showcasing extravagant costumes and state-of-the-art technology in sets, lighting, video and special effects. The audience experienced Jennifer up close and personal, yet larger than life. Seamlessly interweaving different parts of the life of Jennifer Lopez – the actress, the dancer, the pop star – Lopez’s Las Vegas show truly portrayed who she is, where she’s been and where she’s going.
As the third largest promoter in the world, Caesars Entertainment is known for revitalizing the modern era of entertainment in Las Vegas with its record-breaking headlining residencies. The company has consistently been at the forefront of entertainment and has set a high standard for Las Vegas, forcing others in the industry to follow.
