Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas
Singer, songwriter, composer and legendary jam artist Trey Anastasio brings his Trey Anastasio Band to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas for a two-night run, Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28.
Multi-talented Phish front man, Trey Anastasio, is on tour once again with his namesake outfit, Trey Anastasio Band, announcing additional tour dates that will start with two shows the Friday and Saturday before Halloween at Brooklyn Bowl. Anastasio and his band return to Brooklyn Bowl, having played the same holiday weekend (Oct. 30 and 31) in 2015. In their previous visit to the venue, Trey Anastasio Band played a variety of original tunes, Phish favorites and songs by Led Zeppelin and even Jimmy Webb’s “MacArthur Park.”
Trey Anastasio Band at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for ages 21 and up. Single-night general admission tickets start at $45, and two-night passes are available for $85 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, Aug. 25, at Noon PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office or online:
Since 1998, Anastasio has been touring and recording on and off with a revolving group of musicians, though the “band” remained nameless. What started as a trio has since progressed to a decet. Through it all, however, “TAB” has included original members Russ Lawton (drums) and Tony Markellis (bass). Over the years, Cyro Baptista (percussion), Ray Paczkowski (keyboards), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals), Natalie Cressman (trombone, vocals) and James Casey (saxophones, vocals) have joined the group to lend their multiple talents to the collective.
The Trey Anastasio Band tour announcement comes on the heels of Anastasio’s epic thirteen-night “Bakers Dozen” run of shows with Phish at Madison Square Garden in New York City. While Phish was for a long while Anastasio’s primary artistic outlet, the group’s lead guitarist, singer and songwriter have recorded and released 18 albums as a solo artist or with other side projects, including Trey Anastasio Band.
