Roger Daltrey, founding member, and frontman of iconic rock band THE WHO, recently launched a limited-edition champagne in association with Eminent Life – Champagne Cuvée Roger Daltrey – to toast the band’s 50th anniversary.
Daltrey was on site at MR CHOW at Caesars Palace on Friday, Aug. 11 to celebrate the champagne’s U.S. launch, in partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. THE WHO recently premiered their exclusive headlining residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
For a limited time, Champagne Cuvée Roger Daltrey will be featured on MR CHOW’s famous champagne trolley to purchase by the glass or bottle. Champagne Cuvée Roger Daltrey is created in association with Eminent Life (www.eminent-life.com), a company which is dedicated to celebrating excellence in music and the arts by creating limited-edition products, selected and manufactured to the very highest standards. A percentage of proceeds from sales of the Champagne will go to Teen Cancer America, a charity founded by Roger and fellow band member, lead guitarist and songwriter, Pete Townshend.
The award-winning champagne is produced by Charles Orban Champagne; a family vineyard in the village of Troissy, situated on the left bank of the Marne. Produced from a subtle blend of three grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this cuvée represents a perfect expression of the three varieties used in Champagne and has a creamy texture with fine, lively bubbles, receiving a rating of 90 (outstanding) from Wine Spectator.
MR CHOW is open nightly from 5 – 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, 5 – 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information or to make reservations, please call 702-731-7267.
