On Saturday, Aug. 30, the edgy and sophisticated Foxtail nightclub at SLS Las Vegas debuted with a special performance by international music sensations Nico & Vinz in celebration of the club’s grand opening weekend.
After dining on property at Bazaar Meat, the duo delivered a dynamic performance of hits “When the Day Comes” and “Am I Wrong,” recently named one of the “2014 Songs of the Summer” by Billboard. Following the performance, the two kept the energy high on their first visit to Las Vegas and partied with friends at a private table.
Also on property, two UFC stars were spotted partying at LiFE nightclub, former Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz and ring girl Arianny Celeste, while actresses Jenna Ushkowitz from the hit series Glee and Addison Timlin vibed to the beats by two-time Grammy® nominated Australian DJ and producer, Dirty South. Known as one of the leading DJ talents of this generation, Dirty South hyped the crowd with an electrifying set, including the hit track “Unbreakable.” Ortiz captured the scene at LiFE with a video on Instagram including captivating aerialists and performance artists moving to the music from the DJ booth, and Celeste posted a photo of a group of friends enjoying the evening with bottle service.

Nico & Vinz
Nico & Vinz are a Norwegian singing/songwriting duo composed of Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery. They formed in 2009 as Envy and are based in Oslo. They changed their name to Nico & Vinz in January 2014 after the international success of “Am I Wrong”.
In April 2013 they released “Am I Wrong” under the name Envy. In January 2014, the duo changed their name from Envy to Nico & Vinz, in coordination with their signing to Warner Bros. Records in the United States to avoid being confused with other artists with a similar name. With international success of the single, the duo changed the credits of the single to the new adopted name. The song has peaked to number 2 on the Norwegian Singles Chart, the song has also peaked to number 2 on the Danish Singles Chart and number 2 on the Swedish Singles Chart. It was followed up with another release “In Your Arms” which also charted in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
The music video for “Am I Wrong” was directed and edited by Kavar Singh. The video for “Am I Wrong” was filmed in Botswana and at the Victoria Falls between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was put together in a deliberate effort to present a positive side of Africa when the image of the continent is too often mired in negative news stories. The music video was released via YouTube on June 20, 2013, and has been gaining much attention with over sixty million views.
