Hosted by the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation, the annual one-day Teddy Bear 5K Run raises money to provide medical grants to help pay for medical treatments, services or equipment not covered or fully covered by a family’s commercial insurance.
Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to help pay for medical services and equipment such as speech therapy, surgeries, prescriptions and hearing aids.
Put on your running “blue suede” shoes and race around the track with their mascot, Oliver the Bear. The annual Teddy Bear 5K Run is open to the public and will include a family friendly event with fun and games for everyone to enjoy. Run solo or build a team but don’t wait to sign up because the price increases on Monday August 25, 2014!

Be a part of the fourth annual UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation Teddy Bear 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk. The first 150 registered adult participants receive a free Tee shirt! Help support the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation and their efforts to provide financial assistance to children who have medical needs. Post-race activities will be family friendly, including various vendor booths, balloon characters, face painting and more!

The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their parents’ commercial health insurance plan.
